Services

I offer 1-on-1 online therapy sessions. You can join from the comfort and privacy of your own home! All sessions are held through the HIPAA-compliant platform, Simple Practice.

$175 - 50 minute session

$225 - 80 minute session *recommended for EMDR or those who prefer extra time to warm up, ground and/or create art at the start and end of sessions.

All sessions are private pay and payment is due at the time of service. I am out-of-network (OON) with insurance companies, but can provide a receipt (aka a “superbill”) that clients can submit to their insurance for reimbursement. It is the client’s responsibility to work out reimbursement eligibility with their insurance.

Due to the barriers these clients face in receiving affirming care, I offer limited reduced fee spots for QTBIPOC. Reach out to me directly to inquire about availability of these spots or about future group offerings and workshops.

    • Sessions are held over Simple Practice. You will receive your own private link to the session. It is encouraged that you meet from a private location with a strong WiFi connection.

    • Because I am an art therapist, I enthusiastically invite the practice of art making in our sessions. However, you are of course welcome to opt out if you are not up for art making on any given day.

    • We can talk AND make art. I’m ready to support you in both creativity and conversation.

    • You get to decide which materials to use, which projects your create, and the topics you explore.

    • You can create art before or during your session. Together we’ll discuss your experience of art making.

    • I listen carefully to your concerns, hopes, and preferences and suggest unique art experiences to support your healing or wellness goals.

    • After creating, I help you to process your art. This involves talking about your experience and exploring your work for insight, symbolism and meaning.

    • You don’t need any skill or experience with art. In art therapy we focus on your process more than the final product. I’ll help you feel comfortable with new materials and techniques.

    • Every session is unique. Art can be surprising, provoking, vulnerable, cathartic, playful, and fun. (Sometimes all at once!) I have training to support you in the multitude of feelings that may arise.

    • During each session I will ask you to log and/or photograph your art. After a few sessions, we will look back at all the work you have created and reflect on your experience and growth.

    • You are the expert of your art. I do not interpret, assume, diagnose, or critique. This space is for you to have freedom in your creativity.

    • EMDR sessions are structured much differently. EMDR Therapy is a manualized 8-phase process. For more information on what these phases look like in action, see here.

  • The integration of talk therapy, art therapy, and somatic-based techniques offer a wealth of benefits. Our work together could support you in:

    • increasing self-compassion

    • exploring and reclaiming identity

    • expressing, releasing, and transforming traumatic energy

    • deconstructing unhelpful patterns and behaviors

    • develop new coping skills

    • processing overwhelming experiences and emotions

    • working toward more balance in life and trust within self

    • cultivating solutions and clarity about how you want to show up in your circles to support collective wellness

We will begin wherever you are, however you are able: micro shifts are often trailheads to big transformation.

    • I offer one free 15 minute consultation. This is a chance for us to meet and decide together if my offerings are a good fit for you.

    • I recommend starting with 6 sessions, either weekly or bi-weekly (you can decide if it’s not a good fit at anytime)

    • You use your own art supplies. They don’t need to be expensive. Recycled materials and dollar store supplies are awesome!

    • You will need to join the virtual session from a private space with a good Wifi connection.

    • You will receive text or email reminders before your appointment.

    • I keep your sessions and personal health information confidential.

    • I see clients between 11am - 6pm, (Pacific Time) Monday - Thursday.

    • I only accept private pay and am out-of-network with insurance companies.

    • I am licensed to meet with clients who live in and are physically present in Washington State. If you will be traveling or are out of state for a session, that session will need to be rescheduled.

    • I require a 24 hour notice for cancellations. With late cancellations and no-shows I charge my full regular fee for the missed session.
